PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Southern Tech Academy was establish in Spring of 2008. Southern Tech's High School and Post Graduate Athletic program is a Christian based program, and is also a member of the Southern Christian Athletic Conference. Southern Tech is centrally located in the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina. Southern Tech's mission is to work with young athletes who are or headed academically to be ineligible to participate in collegiate sports due to their core GPA and standardized testing scores. This ineligibility prohibits these outstanding athletes from participating in sports on the NCAA level.
Southern Tech Academy is committed to helping athletes reach their potential goal of playing in collegiate athletic programs across the country. These young men and women have little difficulty on the field, but need the extra yardage in the classroom. If you have a student-athlete who has "come up short" or who has matured late in school give him or her the extra year here at Southern Tech!
Southern Tech Academy is a High School and College Preparation Program that helps students gain entry into a 2 or 4 year college. Each student must follow the course plan that is outlined by our academic curriculum. We also provide ACT/SAT preparation courses. All classes offered at Southern Tech are all high school related courses and are provided through our satellite school, Christa McAuliffe Academy.
Southern Tech's educational program provides one of the finest academics settings with a online academic instruction. It is not uncommon for our graduates to experience easier lessons in their freshman/sophomore college coursework, comparable to those lessons received during their tenure at Southern Tech. Our students will be well prepared for success at the college level. Rigorous instruction in the standard core subjects of English, Math, and Science significantly enhances the students' ACT/SAT scores while preparing them for a multitude of challenges in different collegiate disciplines.

MISSION STATEMENT
Southern Tech ensures a holistic environment that is inclusive as well as diverse and fosters a spirit of
community among participants and staff. Southern Tech provides community service, which is a key element in the overall development of the student-athlete's pursuit of excellence in personal, academic, and athletic skills.
